Alibaug (also known as Alibag) is a small town in the Raigad district in Maharashtra. It is about 96 km from Mumbai. It is famous for beaches, delicious malvani food, fort and breathtaking sceneries. One can enjoy the water sports like jet skiing, banana ride, parasailing, horse riding, etc.

How to reach Alibaug from Mumbai Via Ferry
The fastest & cheapest way to reach Alibaug would be the ferry. Nowadays, there are various ferry options available. The ferry takes about 60 mins (Mumbai to Alibaug or vice-a-versa) & will be available from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. The services will be not available in monsoon & bad weather. M2M Ferries Private Limited (Ro-Pax Ferry) operates between Ferry Wharf (Bhaucha Dhakka) in Mumbai and Mandwa Jetty in Raigad seven days a week throughout the year. One of the advantages of this ferry would be it allows passengers to bring their vehicles. The capacity is 500 passengers & 150 vehicles. How to reach Alibaug from Mandwa Jetty?
If you travel from Mumbai to Mandwa via PNP/ Maldar/ Ajanta ferry then you will get a free bus ride from the Mandwa jetty. (It would not be included in the ticket, but you can opt for this option)
If you travel from Mumbai to Mandwa via M2M ferry then you would need to go to Alibaug via Regular Auto.
Auto rickshaw fare from Mandwa to Alibaug would be Rs. 450. (Prefer this one and then rent a motorcycle/scooter.)
Auto rickshaw fare from Mandwa to Nagaon would be Rs. 700.
How to travel in Alibaug if you don’t have a personal vehicle?
Travelling via auto would be costly.
Renting a scooter/bike from Alibaug would be preferable
